If you want to sit classical piano exams in the UK, the recommended examination board is The Associated Board of The Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM). Below is a selection of the grade books you can purchase if you wish to sit your exams. Your teacher will take you through the work and help you register for your piano examination with the ABRSM. You will also require the matching scales & arpeggios book for the same grade. Further to this, it is recommended that you also purchase the specimen sight-reading tests to practice for the exam.
