RAAB is an artist on the Edinburgh and Fife music scene and is always eager to showcase her up-lifting songs. Originally from Dunfermline, she has been singing from a young age, performing and gigging throughout her teens, writing songs, and doing session work. In recent years, she has been focusing on her solo career, known by her artist name, ‘RAAB’.
The power and energy that emanates from Edinburgh-based Rebecca ‘SHEARS’ Shearing is undoubtedly evident, but so too are the cadences that flow at times with a shimmering sadness. SHEARS is pop music with a dark edge. Originally from Ayr but now living in the capital, she was an early YouTube phenomenon in her teens (before it became a mainstream craze), amassing 30 million views and more than 170,000 subscribers.
A new band hope to break into the Latvian music industry all the way from Scotland.
Salt, made up of Linda Boyd and sisters Astra Plepe-Bunga and Viktorija Plepe, have had to get creative during the coronavirus pandemic.
Both Linda and Astra have lived in Edinburgh for more than a decade, while Viktorija is currently residing in Latvia’s capital Riga.
