Fun comes first

Gone are the days of boring lessons. We only take on teachers who genuinely love teaching children, building confidence through the music your child actually enjoys.

Real exam pathways

When they're ready, children can work towards ABRSM, Trinity and Rockschool grades, and we know the SQA National 5, Higher and Advanced Higher music syllabuses inside out.

After-school and weekends

We teach 8am–10pm, seven days a week, so lessons fit around school, homework and family life, in person in Morningside or online.

Children’s lessons, your questions

What age can my child start music lessons?
We teach children from age four upwards with specially trained teachers. For drums we usually recommend waiting until around age seven, so children can comfortably reach the pedals. If you're unsure whether your child is ready, just ask. We're happy to advise.
Which instrument is best for a child to start on?
It depends on the child, but piano, guitar, ukulele, violin and singing are all popular, approachable starting points. The most important thing is that they're excited about it. Motivation matters more than any 'perfect' first instrument.
Are your teachers checked to work with children?
Yes. Every teacher is PVG-registered with Disclosure Scotland, and our safeguarding policy, first-aid training and NSPCC certification are all in place. Parents and guardians are welcome to sit in on lessons at any time.
Can my child take music exams?
Absolutely, when they're ready. We prepare students for ABRSM, Trinity and Rockschool graded exams, and support SQA National 5, Higher and Advanced Higher music, including the theory and past-paper practice.
